Keiichi Tanaka
Tanaka est un potier basé à Saitama. Diplômé en design industriel et artisanal à l’Université d’art de Musahino, il a vu son travail exposé dans le monde entier, avec d’autres artistes ou en solo.
Tanaka utilise la technique du modelage et de son vernis métallique original. Cette combinaison apporte à son travail non seulement de la finesse mais aussi une douceur que seule la céramique est à même de produire, contribuant à vous attirer d’une autre façon au métal réel. L’oeuvre de Keiichi Tanaka fait plonger dans une atmosphère où le temps sembles s’être accumulé; elle vous rend nostalgique, comme si ces oeuvres existaient déjà depuis bien longtemps.
