Octagon plate by Yuriko Morioka
One of a kind octagon plate by Yuriko Morioka. The Amano, Wakayama based ceramist started creating her signature Hakuji after making Yakishime and earthenware. She visited and learned kiln sites of South Korea to learn the local techniques. Her work represents long and deep history with her respect to the Joseon Dynasty of the nation.
