Rice bowl by Atsushi Ogata

Ogata was born in Tokyo in 1960. Graduated from Aichi Prefectural College of Ceramic Engineering. After working in Seto, Aichi prefecture, he moved his studio to mountain valley in Uda, Nara prefecture in 2007. 

Ogata deals with natural and indigenous materials to make his works. With a combination with a firewood kiln, his work accompanied with tasteful expression.
